Finishes up the recap.

Chapter 4

Moses now speaks to the Israelites and asks them to keep the statutes, ordinances and commandments which were given to them. He also says here, "You shall not add to the Word which I command you, nor take from it." This may be why some only take the first five books to be the only word of God.

A recap of the clean and unclean animals and things to eat. Also recaps tithes and some other rituals.

Chapter 15

Basically tells of a release of debts and things after seven years. (I wonder if this is why the IRS only asks you to keep records for 7 years!) The rest of the chapter says that the Hebrews will not be poor, and if there is a poor man amoung you, get him his need.

Chapter 16

Reminders of rituals such as passover and the feast of booths. It also mentions again about fairness in making judgement, and how not to make an altar.

Chapter 32

Moses sings his song to the Israelites and asks them to commit it to memory and to teach it to their children. The song itself mainly speaks of vengence and retribution. It has the same flavor of previous chapters talking about punishments and rewards.

Chapter 33

Before his death, Moses blessed the ten remaining children of Israel. I assume that the others were destroyed durring the trip.

Chapter 34

The death of Moses. Moses was 120 years old when he died. The people mourned for 30 days afterward. The bible says that no-one to this day knows where they buried Moses and also says that there has not been a prophet like Moses who has known the Lord face to face.
