book. Adam and Eve, the Great Flood, the Tower of Babel, the destruction of Sodom and Gamorrah, they're all here. A lenghty book
but a good one.
Exodus - Moses leads the people of Israel out of Egypt. It also gives us the 10 commandments and
the construction of the Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant
Leviticus - The rules and regulations for daily living.
Numbers - A continuation of the journey into the promised land. There are also a couple of census'
taken, hence the name.
Deuteronomy - A recap of the rules and regulations for daily living, with a little more detail.
Joshua - The story of how Joshua and his armies continue to conquer lands for the Lord.
Judges - These are the stories of the people who judged Israel, Deborah, Gideon, and Samson, to name a few
Ruth - The story of Ruth and Naomi and the beginings of David.
First Samuel - The stories of Samuel, David and the Ark.
Second Samuel - The continueing saga of David.
First Kings - More of David, All about Solomon, and mentions of various other kings.
Second Kings - Several kings and prophets of the day including Elijah and Elisha.
